Crystal Ball Improves Quality of Six Sigma

Let me tell you a process system called Crystal Ball. It is for those who uses spreadsheets and needs to forecast uncertain results. Six Sigma Black Belts, Master Black Belts, Green Belts, and other practitioners in nearly every industry, from hospitality to software to BPO to consulting, all rely on Crystal Ball to improve the quality of their Six Sigma analyses.

At present, companies like Honeywell, BAE Systems, Boeing, John Deere, Maytag, Philips Medical Systems, Johnson & Johnson, Sprint, General Mills and Seagate Technology uses Crystal Ball in their Six Sigma.

Crystal Ball is simply MS Excel-based suite of simulation, optimisation, and forecasting tools that can quickly be applied to new or existing spreadsheet models. Whether you are looking to remove variation from a process (DMAIC), establish new process capability (DMADV), or develop new product capability (DFSS), Crystal Ball is a critical tool for your Six Sigma and Quality implementations.

Up until now, you've probably dealt with variation by selecting the mean or best-guess values for your uncertain spreadsheet variables. Your final report reflects only one outcome based on your best ability to guess the future.

Wouldn't it be better if you could replace your estimates with multiple values (probability curves) and then analyse the thousands of possible resulting scenarios?
