A blind Singer From Myanmar

Angel Khaing Zar Lwin has an incredible voice. She is also blind.She can sing in Chinese, Japanese, English and Myanmar, and has also participated in Chinese singing contests.The 18 year-old lost her sight at the age of one. She cannot see her audiences but is a tireless performer.At the age of 11, she started singing on the street outside her house, now she is taking Yangon’s singing contests by storm. She was named most talented at Grand Plaza Parkroyal Hotel’s singing contest and was 3rd runner-up at Dagon Centre’s Myanmar Rap to the Beat competition.But her ultimate dream is to be known worldwide.She was an excellent student, usually getting first prize in all her classes. When she finished the eighth grade, she had to study harder for the higher grades. She is fine except for her blindness. She has very good hearing. Her mother and aunty narrate the words of songs and she listens to us carefully. She listens to the lyrics, and then practises.
