One wonders why North Eastern girls from India are targetted by everyone in the capital city, New Delhi. Everyday, every moment there's eve teasing, molestation and even rape. But unheard of by us. Every girl has a tale to tell. In collges, work place or the room they stays, are like their captives. They don't know what will they face.
Life's so complex and insecure. There might be a dozen of reasons to explain why this happen to the girls from NE. I study some of the field and comes with a strong reason. Fault is with the girls, a serious offends of innocent and look out for money.
Dignity of job is what I would sugest. We could see lots of NE girls in receptionist post or some PA. Are they travel 5000 km from their home to do such type of jobs? Hanging around with their so called boss, in every late night party or some dark hotels.
A friend of mine went for a job interview. Instead of looking at the qualification and her abilities, the interviewer told her straight to her face - " Will you be my gf? " What a question! Intead asked her - " Will you sleep with me? "
Such is the situation of NE girls. I am not blaming those smart girls who topped in Universities and Colleges. They are also came under those stigma of cheap girls who earns Rs. 3500 - Rs. 7000 being RCP*. Go back and stay cool at home... Never do such cheap jobs. And who are you to blame the BID**.
So my good good sisters, look for job dignity. Else depend on parents. Never try to be independent here in the capital.

I think you meant well, but I still have to say this was one of the most absurd posts I've ever read. I won't even care to elaborate on that, I'll just say this- Every girl, no matter where she is from, or what work she does, or how much she earns has the right to do what she wants, and that is including saying 'no' when a lecherous boss asks her "to be his girlfriend"! And if we're going to start raping and harrassing everyone who's unlucky enough to earn only a meagre Rs 5000-7000 a month, there's no telling what this country will come to. India isn't exactly known for it's high per-capita-income y'know!! And to think a supposedly normal, rational, well-fed, laptop-carrying human being, obviously educated enough to earn more than Rs 7000(but still obviously not enough)can think it's justified to rape someone simply because she doesn't earn enough is way beyond me.
forgive me it should be 'You think its only these girls who face problems like assault' . There is an unwanted 'a' in the sentence..
